What is your thought process with Mox Amber in the list? Also–opinions on deafening silence as opposed to Damping Sphere or Lavinia, Azorius Renegade? I maintain a Marneus Calgar list and have overlap in both places. I am feeling conflicted about Mox Amber but run Necropotence and often keep hands with Lotho or Tataru Taru so currently justify it that way, but haven’t had a situation yet where it feels great. Have really enjoyed Springleaf Drum but am running both right now.

Edit: also interested in performance / use cases of manifold key

Mox Amber is great to develop mana with our low cost legends like Lotho, Wan Shi Tong, and Tataru Taru. I did end up moving to Damping Sphere and I’m glad I did.

I maintain that Lavinia is a bad card. I don’t want to stop my opponents from casting spells, I want them to pay more - which is why I’m playing Grand Arbiter Agustin IV in that slot.

Would you consider playing Muddle the Mixture, it’s a hard to interact with tutor that grabs your important 2 drops, and it’s floor is a bad counterspell.

It’s too expensive. I would rather run Grim Tutor instead, but there’s no room for that.

The deck put up some excellent results this past weekend, winning our locals in the hands of two separate pilots - me, and Jax!

How has Grafdigger's Cage felt with Yawgmoth's Will and Sevinne's Reclamation? Do you bounce the cage when necessary or hold back cage if you suspect you’ll need GY recursion in a matchup?

It’s felt fine. The anti-synergistic interaction hasn’t come up yet, but it is something to consider when playing the deck.

Thoughts on the new tez and vexing babule?
Tez can grab bauble / cage or ramp and not too hard to protect early with the creature suite

Also does dampening sphere cover enough to not need cursed totem or why not both?
