I can appreciate Brain Freeze as a card and understand to an extent its ubiquity in almost every blue deck.
But at the same time I do not fully understand how to maximize its use.
I know it is great for fuelling Breach but how can it be turned on your opponents and be used as a wibcon.
Or is it not and its mostly for Breach and Thoracle?
Brain Freeze is very rarely played outside of decks that don’t run Underworld Breach. What decks are you seeing it in?
I suppose I am not.
I feel like I’ve seen/heard it being used in ways outside of fueling Breach lines, sometimes treated as a wincon. I mostly see it as a value cared but I thought maybe I was missing something.
While Brain Freeze should be used mainly to win with breech, there are corner cases where you can use it to deny top deck tutors.

That makes sense. So I had the right idea that it is for Breach and not much else. I kept feeling I was suppose to know another use for it.
Still trying to catch up to everyone else on cEDH knowledge. Most of the times when cards are talked about, especially the older staples, they are talked about in away as if everyone knows what they do.
Still haven’t found a video or article that goes over evergreen/staple cards in a way to help us noobs gain insight.
