Hi all, I’m new to cEDH! Been into strategy gaming my whole life, and was really into mtg as a kid in the 90’s. Any recommended pods, shops, or events in the front range that are welcoming to a newer player (aka, slower/less familiar with all cards)? I’ve been doing homework to get up to speed so I don’t slow the group down too much. Thanks!
One thing I would say as a newer player myself is to be willing to ask questions.
Even if it is in regards to how your game winning combo works.
My first and right now only actual cEDH gaming experience was at a large tournament with stakes on the line and even then the players were very open and welcoming to help me navigate the tricky board states.
In my experience cEDH players are very welcoming and talkative (a lot more politicking in cEDH compare to casual).
I’ve been playing magic for over a decade and EDH for 4 years and even cEDH confused me at first. So speak up!

When you say the “front range” I’m assuming you mean around the Denver, CO area?
We play $10 cEDH events at L7 games, in 2 different locations.
South (6:30 on Fridays):
North (5:30 on Saturdays):
